Firestarter Vodka

I ran out of vodka for my dirty vodka martinis! What's a girl to do? Go to the liquor store to get some more... which is exactly what I was doing when I saw Firestarter Vodka.

Packaging: Clearly the most amazing part! It is packaged to look like a fire extinguisher, complete with a pin you have to pull before using and plenty of warning signs saying "This is not an actual fire extinguisher".

Mild Disappointment: The vodka doesn't spray out! It pours.

The Taste: It's 5x filtered so it promised to be pretty yummy and it delivered. I made my dirty vodka martinis and they were quite delicious.

The price: $18 for the bottle (price varies depending on where you are)... so it was comparable price to Smirnoff or SKYY.

Bonus: Having this out definetely is a conversation starter.

Mardi Gras Eyes

Happy Fat Tuesday!

In Celebration of Mardi Gras, I used purple & green for my eyes and paired it with a nude lipstick.
The base is a shimmery purple over my whole lid. Then i used a bright purple from the inside corner and swept up past the crease. The remaining outer corner of my eye i used a bright green eyeshadow. Finished it up with a green eyeliner pencil (urban decay 24/7 love it!) to make the cat eye. Only used green eyeliner on the outer corner of my eye.  I used purple eyeliner on inside section of eye. Finished it off with green glitter eyeliner (also urban decay) over the green eyeliner and purple glitter eyeline (LA Splash) over the purple eyeliner.

Wet 'n Wild Clinical Serum: Update

So it's been a month since I started using the Wet 'n wild Clinical Serum. I will say my lashes are longer. It's not anything too dramatic but they are a tad longer and it is noticable. I haven't noticed any increased thickness.

What the serum does: I guess the easiest way to describe what this stuff does is to compare it to hair conditioner. If you use hair condition it makes your less brittle, so it doesn't break as often so it can grow longer. The hair condition doesn't increase the length of your hair, just keeps it healthy so it doesn't break so it can grow longer.

The clinical serum is a bunch of vitamins + conditioners for your eyelashes. It makes the lash stronger so it doesn't break or fall out, so it can grow longer. That's why it take a month to work... cause eyelashes just take that long to grow.

Can you tell the difference? Definetely. Just like if you don't condition your hair, you can tell a difference. But just like using hair condition doesn't automatically give you super model hair... don't expect this product to give you supermodel eyelashes. What it does is enhance what you do have.

Bottom line: I'm a fan and i think it's worth the money.
